Welcome to Tulalip KANU TV 99

This Week’s Schedule (note: schedule is Pacific Time zone – Current Time)

KANU TV 99 is a unique cable channel providing programming to Native households and subscribers to Tulalip Broadband.   Programming includes News and Information directed to Tulalip Tribal Members and their families.  In addition, there are other Programs of general interest to all Native Americans.  Most of the TV programming is culturally or historically based, and all is non-commercial in content.

Some of the current programming titles are:

Tulalip Matters – Tulalip Matters is a news program produced by the Tulalip Tribes Communications Department.

Community Meeting – Held on the 4th Thursday of every month, a subject of Tulalip community interest is discussed.

NorthWest Indian News – News Magazine show highlighting the successes, events, challenges, people and places in Indian Country around the NorthWest.  This show is being seen in millions of households from Alaska to Arizona.

Sports – Tulalip Sports that we have been able to cover with a video report

Tulalip Heritage Hawks Basketball – We follow the games of the Boys and Girls of Tulalip Heritage High School

Tulalip Reports – Event oriented programming, such as the Hotel Groundbreaking, Museum Groundbreaking, Admin Building Groundbreaking, Tulalip Parade, First Salmon Ceremony and much more.

Lushootseed Language Video Series – A 16 part video series teaching the pronunciation and vocabulary of the historical language spoken by members of the Tulalip Tribes.

Tulalip History Series – A 7 Part video series highlighting the history, life and accomplishments of one of Tulalip’s Elders.

Discover Tulalip – Talk show style of show, discussing people, events, culture, services, history, issues and more.

Native Report – A Production of WDSE-TV Duluth, MN

Native Nation Building – A production of Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management and Policy
