FABULOUS MUSICIAN IN FILM MUSIC RECORDING

Today the fabulous musician Saxofonista José Luis Santacruz was in my studio to record music I composed for a short film in the series “LIVING”, I am producing. I will let you know when it is finished, so you can enjoy the music along with the film. In this case the music is extremely important, since there is no voice-over or speach except some real sound that can be heard behind and mixes naturally with the music. The challenge is to compose and produce something that will lift up and support the film – without taking over. I am now going to work on the soundtrack. Love it!

Now composing film music for a new film coming up … I have written a solo for an outstanding soprano saxophone player, whom I heard recently here in Spain … and I am now really happy to be working with Saxofonista José Luis Santacruz on the score next week.
